BRUSCHETTA BAR

The HUBS and I recently went to go visit some family and there was discussion of a "Burrito Bar". Believe me if such things existed, I'd never leave.  But it did get me to thinking that a "Bruschetta Bar" for a party would be fun.  Basically lay out a whole bunch of cheeses, greens, and other garnishes and voila!  Customizable apps for the picky!  So this past week I did a test run on the HUBS.  These were our creations on whole wheat baguette slices:

BRUSCHETTA RECIPES

KITCHEN  CHARISMA SHAH


BRUSCHETTA ONE INGREDIENTS

  1. whole milk ricotta + 1 tsp grapefruit juice and 1 tsp grapefruit zest
  2. arugula
  3. balsamic glaze
  4. EVOO

 

BRUSCHETTA TWO INGREDIENTS

  1. pesto (fresh basil + EVOO + parmesan + pine nuts)
  2. fresh mozzarella
  3. arugula
  4. parmesan

 

BRUSCHETTA THREE INGREDIENTS

  1. pea + mint chutney (1/3 c peas, 1/3 c fresh italian parsley, 6 mint leaves, salt to taste, EVOO)
  2. fresh mozzarella
  3. sautéed julianned onions

 

BRUSCHETTA FOUR INGREDIENTS

  1. avocado
  2. pickled red onions (red onions + dash of vinegar)
  3. diced jalapeños
  4. freshly chopped cilantro
  5. lime juice
